Our Performance Messaging Team brings together experts in email and in-product messaging to deliver targeted campaigns that enhance the customer experience and drive business results. We partner closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure our messaging is timely, relevant, and meaningful; ultimately driving business impact.

We are seeking an experienced Performance Messaging Campaign Manager to join our team, reporting to the Senior Lead, Campaigns & Solutions. In this role, you will use your expertise in campaign management and operations to coordinate complex projects, streamline processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in supporting our program’s health and driving strategic initiatives across our email and in-product messaging channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own core processes end-to-end; document, socialize, and enforce operating standards.

  • Oversee production resource management, including capacity planning and vendor/agency coordination.

  • Drive continuous process improvements to increase throughput, quality, and compliance.

  • Serve as special project driver for cross-functional initiatives from scoping through launch.

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders (both internal and external) to surface actionable insights across email and in-product channels for implementation.

  • Lead stakeholder management by aligning priorities, surfacing risks, and maintaining clear and timely communication.

  • Socialize scalable best-practice recommendations for channel strategy and experimentation.

  • Act as timeline driver; build integrated schedules, track dependencies, and hold owners accountable.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to design and implement experimentation frameworks (hypotheses, success metrics, QA) and partner on analysis and readouts.

Qualifications

Your background

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in marketing, operations, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience collaborating with production or engineering teams.

  • Proven experience in email, in-product messaging, and/or marketing operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large-scale projects or campaigns.

  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships.

  • Proficiency in interpreting marketing performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, dismiss rates, conversion metrics) and using analytics tools.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $90,900 - $118,675

Zone B: $81,900 - $106,925

Zone C: $75,600 - $98,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
