you will drive the technical strategy, execution, and delivery of innovative data products and visualization solutions that empower our customers to unlock actionable insights from complex data. You will lead a talented team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and shape the future of our analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Define and execute the engineering vision and roadmap for the Data Experiences and Analytics Visualization Platform.
Oversee the architecture, design, and development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data and visualization products.
Ensure best practices in software engineering, data engineering, and visualization technologies.
Team Management:
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive talent acquisition, retention, and professional development.
Product & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and other stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver value and impact.
Advocate for the voice of the customer in all engineering decisions.
Operational Excellence:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering quality, delivery, and reliability.
Implement robust processes for agile development, code quality, testing, and deployment.
Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships as needed.
Innovation & Strategy:
Stay abreast of industry trends in data analytics, visualization, and platform engineering.
Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Champion a data-driven culture across the organization.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable,
and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than
that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges
for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $239,400 - $312,550
Zone B: $216,000 - $282,000
Zone C: $198,900 - $259,675
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
