That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Atlassian is looking for an experienced business analyst to focus on our growing product portfolio and Product Revenue Strategy (PRS) and support the roll-out and operationalization of product and pricing changes. This role sits within the Sales Systems & Process team in Sales Operations and is specifically focused on supporting the SMB sales team, Sales Support teams and general QTC impact.
The PRS Business Process Analyst is a senior-level individual contributor, with a consistent record of supporting complex, business-impacting projects. Candidates will possess business process, systems administration, and analytical skills that will be instrumental in helping the sales team scale globally. On the job you will work closely with the many teams involved in standing up sales processes for new Atlassian products, including both products that have been developed internally & products that have been acquired through M&A. This role will horizontally support existing sales teams & processes, and will collaborate with the BPAs responsible for specific teams & processes to drive the changes needed to bring new products to market.
What you’ll be doing:
Work with multi-functional teams including SMB Sales, Product, Program Management, Enablement, Sales Tech, Marketing, Legal, and Finance on your projects - your work cuts across the full customer lifecycle, so your stakeholders are diverse
Study and learn the operational processes employed by our SMB Sales, Enterprise Deal Operations, and customer/product advocate teams. This is a unique organization with a hybrid profile spanning customer support, customer success, pre-sales and post-sales support.
Work with product teams to identify impact to existing business operations, as well as required activities and dependancies to implement changes across business teams
Own requirements documentation including BRDs, process flows, wireframes or other assets used to collect business needs
Partner with our internal technology teams to prioritize change requests and deliver capabilities in our customer support flows / ticketing systems for new product sales motions
Serve as the point of contact for product launches within the Sales Systems & Process team for other BPAs who drive changes to our sales / customer success systems
Participate in user acceptance, smoke testing, and implementation activities
Partner with content and enablement teams to support deliverable creations for the areas you are driving
Help define “interim state” business processes for acquired companies, and help lead the change and adoption of these new processes
Drive opportunities for process improvement across the Product Launch and/or sales support work streams
Skills and Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Technology, or Customer Support/Success in an “analyst” position (business, process, systems, functional, etc.)
Experience supporting projects across the product lifecycle portfolio, including new product introductions, pricing changes, repackaging, rebrands, M&A, and end-of-sale
Experience working in a high-growth, enterprise software company with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems
Strong operational skills, with the ability to balance project and support needs
An ability dive into details, but also to step back and reframe a problem more strategically
You have a passion for learning - new tools, processes, ways of working, etc. and are open to change and doing things in new ways, and approach everything with a customer-centric mindset
Experience rolling out significant programs within a sales or customer success organization, including requirements gathering, solution design, cross-functional execution, and change management
You are a self-starter, and thrive in constantly evolving environments where goals are often clear but tactics are not. Atlassian is a dynamic, fast-paced company, so adaptability and flexibility are a must.
Strong influencing skills. As an individual contributor, you will work with lots of other people to help define the plan and get it executed.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with exceptional organization and time management skills
You are a team player at heart and have a get $#!t done mentality
