We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager who combines product marketing acumen with exceptional tactical execution. The role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on campaign delivery across multiple channels, focused on maximizing post sales customer value through our Community & Learning portfolio.

We are seeking a professional who can both strategize and execute, recognizing that their primary responsibility is marketing to existing customers who have already invested in our software, while also understanding how successful post-sales marketing feeds back into acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives.

We emphasize driving adoption, expertise development, credentialing, and advocacy, which feeds back into traditional marketing initiatives. A Marketer who excels in post-sales marketing motions while understanding how to fuel the flywheel that drives continued growth.

Responsibilities

This position is uniquely positioned at the intersection of product marketing, customer success, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate possesses sharp business acuteness that enables them to identify opportunities and translate insights into actionable, multi-channel marketing campaigns. You'll be responsible for both developing sophisticated acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies AND personally executing the tactical implementation across diverse marketing channels.

This position requires a customer-centric marketing professional who thrives in a hands-on environment where strategic vision meets tactical execution. Your success will be measured not just by your ability to develop compelling marketing strategies, but by your proven capability to roll up your sleeves and deliver results across email, social, content, events, digital advertising, and community engagement channels. You'll need the business acuteness to spot market opportunities, the product mindset to understand customer needs deeply, and the execution skills to launch and optimize campaigns that drive measurable business impact.The ideal candidates will have proven experience in:

Growth Loop Creation And Value Positioning

Your role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution across all marketing channels. You'll leverage our community and learning portfolio to create meaningful customer experiences while personally managing campaign development, content creation, channel optimization, and performance analysis. This includes building and executing knowledge-sharing programs, developing and promoting expertise-based value propositions, and transforming customer wins into scalable acquisition tools through hands-on creation of testimonials, case studies, and multi-channel advocacy campaigns.

In this role you will provide:

  • Enterprise Value Communication: Articulating and demonstrating to all segments of business the business value of having staff skilled in our platform

  • Flywheel Acceleration: Leveraging customer success stories, testimonials, and advocacy to fuel new customer acquisition

Enablement & Engagement

  • Customer Education: Building knowledge & expertise amongst our user base

  • Customer Enablement: Creating resources that help customers effectively use our products

  • Internal Enablement: Showing the value of the Community and Learning portfolio internally and building knowledge amongst our internal employee audience

Professional Growth & Advocacy

  • Customer Education: Building knowledge and expertise among our user base

  • Expertise Development & Credentialing: Creating compelling value propositions for why individuals should become certified experts in our software

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate both strategic competencies (growth loop creation, enterprise value communication, customer education strategy) and tactical execution skills (campaign management, content development, channel optimization, performance analytics, cross-functional collaboration).

Industry Experience

  • Software/SaaS Marketing: 3-5+ years of experience specifically in marketing software products to both end-users and business

  • Post-Sales Focus: Strong experience with customer success marketing, adoption programs, and user enablement

  • Market Segment Knowledge: Demonstrated experience marketing to enterprise, mid-market, and SMB customers

  • Persona-Based Marketing: Proven track record creating marketing strategies tailored to multiple personas (end users, administrators, power users, executive buyers)

Strategic Capabilities

  • Flywheel Marketing Expertise: Experience creating self-reinforcing marketing systems where customer success feeds acquisition

  • Full-Funnel Integration: Ability to connect post-sales success with pre-sales marketing initiatives

  • Advocacy-to-Acquisition Pipeline: Track record of converting customer advocates into acquisition channels

  • Post-Sales Engagement: Proven strategies for maintaining customer engagement throughout the product adoption lifecycle

  • Customer Success Alignment: Experience developing marketing programs that support the customer journey after purchase

  • Advocacy Development: Track record of transforming satisfied customers into brand champions and advocates

  • Multi-Channel Campaign Management: Experience orchestrating integrated campaigns across digital, content, and event channels

  • Competitive Positioning: Ability to differentiate products in crowded software markets

  • Content Production: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality marketing content efficiently

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Track record of using performance data to optimize campaigns

  • Conversion & ROI Metrics: Experience measuring and improving conversion rates throughout the funnel. Ability to demonstrate marketing impact on pipeline and revenue

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Proven ability to collaborate with Product Marketing, Product teams, Customer Support, Customer Success, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and other marketing and customer-facing teams

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $115,000 - $153,400

Zone B: $103,500 - $138,000

Zone C: $95,500 - $127,300

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
