We're looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to report to our Head of Technical Program Management for Accessibility.
As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you'll help shape our Technical Program Management organization as a senior contributor. Your role is to guide our Engineering team through growth and remove obstacles to achieve long-term goals. You'll create agreements, set guardrails, and eliminate barriers to help our engineering teams move faster.
What you'll do
Lead programs to enhance Accessibility across our expanding Engineering teams.
Translate goals into technical challenges and prioritize solutions.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to address these challenges.
Oversee the success of technical programs from start to finish, including budgeting and scheduling.
Manage complex dependencies and projects with wide-reaching impact.
Your background
7+ years in program leadership on software teams, such as Engineering Manager or Technical Program Manager.
3+ years of experience managing Accessibility or compliance programs
Experience in Accessibility at scale (5000+ employees).
Deep understanding of Accessibility compliance and standards globally.
Familiarity with Accessibility tools and automation.
Experience in defining and tracking key Accessibility metrics.
Experience in software development and leading large-scale engineering projects.
Skilled in setting visions and developing program roadmaps, managing risks, and driving change.
Proven experience partnering with executives and senior engineering leaders.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $200,100 - $266,800
Zone B: $180,100 - $240,100
Zone C: $166,100 - $221,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
