Global Experiences is on a mission to amplify the value of Atlassian cloud platform through core user experiences that bridge and unite Atlassian’s portfolio of products. As part of Global Experiences, the Admin Experience team owns the universal, platform home for all-things-admin – the Atlassian Admin app (aka Admin Hub).
Atlassian Admin supports core product-agnostic administrative jobs to be done, including managing users and their access to apps, installing and setting up new apps, monitoring app usage and configuring their organizations security settings. Our team’s mission is to build the centralized mission control that spans the entirety of the Atlassian product portfolio, help admins more effectively attend to the needs of their users, and set admins up to be Atlassian’s strongest advocate within their organization.
In this role, you will lead one or more pillars of the Atlassian Admin app, drive the product strategy for the pillar(s), and steer and orchestrate multiple programs of work within your purview. You will have a principal-level role on the Admin Experience team as an individual contributor with substantial input on both strategy and execution.
You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and product leaders and operate as an expert with deep domain and an ability to immediately contribute to complex, high-impact projects. You will engage as the subject matter expert with strategic customers. You will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of admin experience while driving direct business impact.
This role requires an expert-level understanding of admin jobs to be done and ability to translate complex customer requirements into compelling experiences and feature sets that support Atlassian objectives and provide admins with visibility, control, and ease-of-use they need to be successful.
On your first day, we'll expect you have:
Product management experience at a SaaS company, ideally with a focus on administration or user management and content management services and tools
Track record of managing and shipping sprawling feature sets that depend on the effective collaboration of multiple product development teams
Technical depth to interpret complex customer requirements and translate them into the right set of foundational building blocks to support those requirements
Bias to action, sense of urgency, and commitment to clarity that makes you someone your team can instinctively trust and rally behind
Relentless customer focus – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning
Passion for navigating gnarly day-to-day decisions to help your team get stuff done
Ability to build relationships and influence without authority at all levels of the organization.
Typically, product managers at this level at Atlassian have:
10+ years of product management experience
Computer science or a related technical degree
