You’ll join a global Leadership Operations team of over 100 Executive and Administrative Assistants, all dedicated to empowering Atlassian leaders. Our centralized structure ensures you have the support of experienced Managers who partner closely with you and your leaders across four Lines of Business: Go to Market, Engineering, G&A, and Markets and Transformation. What you'll do:
Calendar Management and Meeting Logistics:
Expertly manage complex executive calendars across multiple time zones, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring optimal prioritization of meetings and urgent priorities.
Prepare leaders for meetings by organizing agendas, briefing materials, and logistics, while capturing detailed notes and action items to ensure seamless follow-up and execution.
Event Coordination and Logistics:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of both virtual and in-person events—including off-sites, conferences, and business gatherings—by meticulously managing logistics, vendor and venue relationships, and contract negotiations to ensure seamless and impactful experiences.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related communications, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned, and providing comprehensive briefings to ensure preparedness and success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership by influencing priorities, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring alignment and clarity across global teams.
Draft and coordinate internal communications, prepare presentations for org-wide meetings, and manage engagement to help leaders effectively communicate their vision and drive business goals.
Rhythm of Business:
Play a pivotal role in driving the rhythm of business for the leadership team by planning, coordinating, and executing key business cadences such as leadership meetings, offsites, town halls, and quarterly planning sessions.
Ensure leaders are well-prepared for all engagements through a proactive approach, anticipating needs and addressing potential challenges before they arise.
Financial Management:
Assist in monitoring and managing the budget for the leader, providing regular updates and insights to ensure alignment with financial goals. This involves collaborating with finance teams to track expenditures and forecast future budgetary needs.
Coordinate and manage the creation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate submission to support the operational needs of the leadership team.
Oversee and manage expense reports for the leader, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement. This includes tracking expenses, preparing reports, and resolving any discrepancies.
Travel Management:
Organize and manage all aspects of travel arrangements for the leader, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
Develop detailed travel itineraries that align with the leader's schedule and priorities, ensuring efficient use of time and resources during trips.
Leadership Operations Engagement:
Participate in Leadership Operations meetings, contribute to our craft, and build relationships.
Actively participate and/or lead in the planning and execution of Leadership Operations projects, programs, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Atlassian's strategic goals.
Contribute to the development of best practices and processes within Leadership Operations.
Technology and Tools:
Leverage a variety of productivity and collaboration tools (Atlassian suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Workday).

Your background
You have 7+ years demonstrated experience in an Executive Assistant role, supporting senior leaders.
You play as a team. You have a great sense of TEAM and can easily report into and take direction from your EA team lead. You focus on solutions, and are comfortable navigating change and removing blockers.
You're a strategic partner. You have successfully supported senior leaders in high-growth technology companies, are experienced in managing conflicting priorities and prioritising demands.
You're a craft expert. You have experience planning remote and in-person events and meetings at scale. You work quickly and navigate new technologies and systems that make work more efficient.
You thrive in a distributed workplace. You can make decisions based on data and experience. You're keen to drive impact.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $104,400 - $136,300
Zone B: $94,500 - $123,375
Zone C: $87,300 - $113,975
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
