As a Client Platform Engineer in our Workplace Technology team, you will work as part of a Client Platform Engineering spearheading the goal of empowering productivity through intelligent, secure, and seamless device experiences—anytime, anywhere. .

We are seeking a skilled macOS and Windows administrator to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our expanding fleet of endpoints. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Atlassian engineering team to comprehend their needs, develop customised solutions, and deliver expert-level support to guarantee optimal system performance and security.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 4 - 5 years proven experience managing macOS and Windows devices using tools like Microsoft Intune, Jamf, SCCM, or Workspace ONE.

  • 4 - 5 years proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or other scripting languages for macOS and Windows automation and deployment, including using Git for version control.

  • Knowledge of endpoint security best practices, including BitLocker, FileVault, malware solutions, and compliance frameworks.

  • Skills implementing regulated industries security and compliance best practices and policies for macOS and Windows environments.

  • Experience using SIEM tools like Splunk for system monitoring, alerting and performance insights.

  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation of configurations and procedures, including providing training and knowledge transfer to team members.

  • Strong aptitude for building client relationships by providing excellent technical support and guidance.

It is great, but not required, if you have experience with:

  • Understanding of modern security frameworks, endpoint protection, and conditional access policies.

  • Skills with AWS Workspaces such as design, deployment, scalability, and performance.

  • Working with information security, compliance and audit teams on complex issues like FedRAMP requirements.

  • Familiarity with VPN, proxy configurations, DNS, and network troubleshooting for endpoint devices.

  • Understanding of enterprise authentication methods such as Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and OAuth.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable,
and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than
that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges
for new hires in each zone are:


Zone A: $176,200 - $235,000

Zone B: $158,600 - $211,500

Zone C: $146,300 - $195,000


This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
