Your future team

G’day! You may have heard that Atlassian is an Australian company. We’re actually a US company with a big Aussie heart. We’re looking for an experienced Director, Equity Transformation, reporting to the Head of Global Equity Administration in our Legal team, to lead and manage the transformation of business processes and systems to scale the administration of Atlassian’s global equity plans.

In this senior individual contributor role, you'll be part of a fast-paced, fun, global team. Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Define, build, and optimize processes and workflows to create scalable and future-proof technical solutions that anticipate needs beyond the present state.

  • Collaborate with business partners to enable their teams to easily and efficiently access and utilize equity data to achieve mutual goals.

  • Translate complex requirements into clear and accurate final products that help our teams achieve organizational objectives.

  • Develop and implement technical solutions that effectively transform business goals into tangible outcomes.

  • Indulge your technical curiosity and apply your acquired knowledge to solve problems effectively.

  • Be a thought partner with our equity plan vendor, Morgan Stanley at Work, on the development of new features.

  • Actively lead the Equity team’s strategic projects, process improvements, automation initiatives, and M&A activity.

Qualifications

On day one we’ll expect you to have:

  • A BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or any other related field of study.

  • 6+ years of equity-related professional experience with an emphasis on business analysis or program management.

  • Experience driving continuous improvement and adapting to new approaches and methodologies.

  • Ability to generate various solutions, evaluate tradeoffs and risks, and determine the best path forward.

  • Broad technical experience with automated systems integrations and data storage/analysis solutions.

  • Ability to execute under pressure and within timelines, with exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in conjunction with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple special tasks simultaneously.

  • Broad experience with end-to-end equity administration.

  • CEP certification completed or in progress.

  • Customer service/employee-first oriented style with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners.

  • A healthy sense of humor, with a how-can-I-help, get-it-done attitude.

It would also be great if you:

  • Have experience with Shareworks, Workday, and Atlassian products (Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Jira Work Management, Rovo, Loom).

  • Have familiarity with automation tools such as Workato, and Slack workflows.

  • Are located in the U.S. Pacific or Mountain time zones to best overlap with our distributed team.

  • Are comfortable working on a fully-remote global team.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $162,000 - $216,000

Zone B: $145,800 - $194,400

Zone C: $134,500 - $179,300

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
