Working at Atlassian

Atlassian's can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassian's have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Your Future Team:

The Atlassian Early Careers team continues to evolve and innovate, shaping the future of our organisation through hiring the right people to advance our cause and that of every team! Do you love getting creative about finding high potential university talent? Do you thrive on guiding them through a legendary hiring experience? Are you interested in creating future talent capacity for a dynamic technology organisation? If so, then this is the role for you!

Ideally located in Central Time, we seek someone available for a quick start with the team in time for this season’s recruiting push. This role would suit an experienced Campus, Early Career or University Recruiter interested in driving innovative and world class Early Careers talent outcomes in a fast paced and diverse role, providing an opportunity to take on high accountability for the delivery outcomes in your portfolio.

While you leverage UR expertise, you'll also get an opportunity to evolve your global mindset and collaborate across borders with our teams in APAC and India. You'll be responsible for all parts of the campus recruiting lifecycle, including running on-campus events, driving candidate pipelines, branding the company as an employer of choice and guiding interviewer debrief sessions. You will learn the intricacies of each business area - predominantly Engineering, Design and Product Management and then be able to promote these opportunities to students for both Grad and Intern programs.

At Atlassian, you'll get to develop new initiatives and roll out global programs internally, and work on programs to continue to evolve our hiring approach. If you're someone who wants to push the boundaries on how campus recruiting is currently done, this role will create opportunities to flex that mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with in-demand students with multiple offers from competitors

  • Work well on a team – willing to roll up your sleeves and be excited to contribute to all aspects of the candidate experience

  • Proven attention to detail with strong organisational and planning skills

  • Be comfortable acting as the face of Atlassian, showcasing our values and opportunities to external candidates as well as internal contacts for our Engineering and internal business partners

  • Campus | Early Career | University Recruiting experience - ideally from a technology flavoured environment.

It’s great, but not required, if you have:

  • A background in high volume, technology and software focussed, campus recruitment

  • Experience attending and working with technical student societies/hackathons and Universities

  • Familiarity with our relevant tools and programs (e.g ATS and university job boards)

  • Experience in full-cycle technical recruiting

  • Knowledge of engaging and sourcing hard to find candidates
